Seit 2020 bietet die Konzertreihe »The Art of the Duo« eine spannende Mischung aus experimentellen und intensiven musikalischen Dialogen. Die vom Bremer Musiker Johannes Haase ins Leben gerufene Reihe hat bereits 17 internationale Gäste in die Stadt geholt, um in experimentellen Duo Formationen ihre ganz eigene Klangwelle zu erzeugen. Auch dieses Jahr wird die Reihe fortgesetzt: 5 lokale Musiker treten in einen kreativen Austausch mit sechs internationalen Gästen und präsentieren an 3 verschiedenen Orten ihr Zusammenspiel.

Für den Auftakt am 21. März 2025 um 20 Uhr lädt Johannes Haase zusammen mit »Neue Stadt #Kultur« in die #GAK ein. Zu Gast sein wird Liz Kosack (Synthesizer), die mit den Bremer Musiker:innen Isabelle Raphaelis (Querflöte) und Mattia Bonafini (Synthesizer und Elektronik) in einen musikalischen Dialog tritt, der sich durch Improvisation und temporäre Klangexperimente auszeichnet.

Since 2020, the concert series “The Art of the Duo” has been offering an exciting mix of experimental and intense musical dialogues. The series, founded by Bremen musician Johannes Haase, has already brought 17 international guests to the city to create their own wave of sound in experimental duo formations. The series will continue this year: five local musicians will enter a creative exchange with six international guests and present their interplay at three different venues.

Johannes Haase and “Neue Stadt Kultur” invite you to the GAK for the kick off on March 21st, 2025, at 8 pm. The guest will be Liz Kosack (synthesizer), who will enter a musical dialogue with the Bremen musicians Isabelle Raphaelis (flute) and Mattia Bonafini (synthesizer and electronics), characterized by improvisation and temporary sound experiments.
